An orange wine with plenty of personality.
Grapes: Viognier (75%) / Gamay (direct press - 25%)
Julien sources his grapes from friends who are biodynamically farming in the area.
Macerated whole bunch Viognier (for around ten days) with some (25%) direct press Gamay (so the juice from the Gamay is clear juice, not red). The grapes are grown in calcareous clay soils. The wine is stored in fibreglass tanks for around 5 months. - Notes from Living Wines (importer)
