Plenty of tropical fruit on the nose. Textural and dry but with some fruit sweetness on the palate.
Grapes: A base of macerated Sauvignon Blanc with some Chardonnay, Semillon, Gewürztraminer Pinot Noir.
Grapes are grown organically.
A melange of varieties and ferments put together to represent the very broad but true nature of the 2019 vintage. Several separate ferments put together to become Haggis with a combination of skin contact, whole bunches, destemmed, and direct pressed juice in a variety of vessels including ceramic egg, old barrels in small and large format and also stainless tanks.
Patrick makes his wines using minimal intervention in the winery.
