A combination of 80 year old vines, and 40 year old vines grown in the west alpine, cool climate region of Bugey. Louis' vineyards are certified organic, and will be certified biodynamic next year (2021).
Leaning into his experience working in Beaujolais, Louis puts this wine through semi-carbonic for 15-20 days of maceration, followed by 6 month of ageing in old barrels.
