Grape GrowingThe Piccola Nera is grown close to Slovenia overlooking the sea is the town of Muggia, adhering to the goal is to only grow grapes native to the area. It is a native Istrian variety. The grapes are harvested by hand in small baskets.

Wine Making
The wines are produced using traditional techniques that have been handed down through generations. Minimal intervention using only a little sulphur. Grapes are de-stemmed and macerated on the skins for 48 hours in open vats, then aged for 6 months in stainless steel containers.
