Plant in 1985 at 620m above sea level on light loamy clay over sandstone with extensive schist and quartz rubble - one of the highest and oldest vineyards in the Adelaide Hills. Farming is Organic with some biodynamic practices and dry grown.
100% whole cluster open top fermentation, 11 months in French and Austrian oak barriques and puncheons of which 25% were new.
