Vines planted in 1985 & 1996 at 550m & 523m above sea level. on light loamy clay over sandstone with extensive schist and quartz rubble. Vineyards are famed organically.
100% whole cluster open top fermentation, 11 months in French and Austrian oak barriques and puncheons of which 25% were new.
