The light skin contact we apply on our white wines results in a combination of density as well as elegance and makes this wine very suited to accompany a wide variety of dishes and cuisine, from fish to white meat - Producer notes.
Grapes: Grecacnico / Carricante
All wines are made from fruit grown with organic certification. Frank’s viticultural approach is the most extreme of all. He avoids any sorts of spraying, including the sulphur and copper remedies. Both grapes are grown on 40 year old + vines in the volcanic soil of Etna. The vineyards (Calderara, Borriglione, Crasà and Picciolo) are located between 620m and 750m above sea level.
The wine is macerated on skins for 4 days. Indigenous yeasts are used, no fining or filtration is carried out and no sulphur added.
