Soft and smooth Pinot with a brightness from juicy blue and red fruits.
Grapes: Pinot Noir
Organic fruit from three sites across the Piccadilly Valley. Yields were down 50% which meant only 4 barriques where yielded from the négociant vineyards in the valley. These were blended with 4 barriques from the Gloria estate vineyard in Basket range.
The winemaking for each of the parcels was the same with fermentation taking place in Jarrah open top fermenters with 80% whole bunches for between 8 and 10 days. The wines were settled for 2 weeks in tank where malolactic fermentation took place. Wines where then racked to barrique on fine lees, and aged for 11 months.
