The grape behind the famed Piedmontese Gavi di Gavi. Long loved by the Ligurians for its limey, minerality that works so well with its seafood, it also shows notes of white peach & honeydew melon. Whilst wonderful when young, its worth trying this grape with a couple of years of age, as it starts to develop a more honeyed richness.
